Along with my wife Jayne, I have been a member of the HYC since the early 80's. I have served many past years on the committee fulfilling a number of duties including managing berthing and compiling the club newsletters. Our previous boats are Pax (Flying Fifteen), Wild Oats (Albin Vega), Saracen (Albin Stratus), Scorcher (Trapper 300). Currently we own Plancius (Sadler 34). I was elected Vice-Captain of the club at the 2007 AGM and Captain in 2008 and I am enjoying working with the members, Officers and Committee to continue the great work of my predecessors.
