Despite light winds and a rather damp start to the day, the Parade of Sail on Saturday 7th June was a great success with more than 60 boats taking part in the sail past the Captain, The Admiral of the Humber (Lord Mayor of Hull), the Harbour Master Humber and 9 past Captains gathered on the decks of the sloop Phyllis.
The following pictures are a small selection which give some indication of the spectacle but please send in yours to add to the coverage (Click on the thumbnails for full-size picture).

[...] 125 years [...]
Hi Roger, Two things, would it be possible to put in a link to the above web site & could you change the description of Phyllis from keel to sloop in your otherwise perfect text on the 125 year parade of sail. See you at the dinner.
Kath & Alan
Hi Alan,
The website link is already in, I think…put in by Trevor Bending. I have changed the wording as requested.
Roger
Hi Alan
The link is in the blogroll “Are these of interest?” to the right here. You can ‘engineer’ it into a comment if you wish by quoting it. (PS. It’s also linked from your name in the recent comment list).
Trevor
Dear sir/madam,
I came across a trophy which looks like a tobacco tinbut larger. It was presented to R.FALCONER JAMESON ESQ.by Dr.T.C.Jackson,captain on the 8 July 1899 for a race won on Hornsea Mere. There appears to be hallmarks which are faded.A local jewellers confirmed it is silver.
I thought I would bring this to the clubs historical attention.
Any further information needed about this trophy, can be done by contacting myself.
Yours sincerely.
John. phone is 07766 075 287.
